Perhaps next year.
One must be 18 years old (and younger).
BTW AAU has their 2010 Nationals in Virginia.

USATF = USA Track & Field, AAU - Amateur Athletics Union. Google either.

lbmitchell, YES! Too late.
1. need to be a member of USATF
2. needed to run in your States USATF JO Champ race - and qualify for:
3. running in the Regional JO Champs - and qualifying for the Nationals.
The same would be true for The AAU Jr Olympics, which have their Nationals at the same time.

tonyzarate From the official web site:
"Entry for the national championship is based on athlete performances at preliminary, Association, and Regional levels." I went through an 1.Association/State meet which is a QUALIFIER (3 top times per event) for the 2. REGIONAL meet, which will be the QUALIFIER for the 3. USATF NATIONAL Jr. Olympics July 28-June 2 NC
The meet on this page appears to be a "championship" #1)at the same time.???

I just noticed that someone is from CA. You have to qualify out of your State in order to participate. Contact your local association for more information http://www.usatf.org/associations/

Go to http://durhamstriders.com/ click the link "2009 NC USATF JO Championships" to find details. Also note the age restrictions in the document at this link. In addition you must also purchase a usatf membership here http://www.usatf.org/membership/ This page will provide a little background information.
